What sets you apart from other training facilities?
Martial Arts is the foundation for everything that we do at OAC. Whether you're looking for a killer workout, need some serious stress relief, want to lose weight, are interested in learning self-defense techniques, or are getting ready for your next fight- we've got you covered! Outside of all that, our culture really sets us apart. We believe it's important to leave your ego at the door, work hard, and have fun!
I've never boxed before. Will I be able to join in to any class?
YES! We welcome all-levels to join us. We recommend any of our Boxing Pads classes to start!
I'm out of shape. Am I going to be able to keep up in class?
That's what we're here for! There's no sense trying to "get in shape" before you sign up. Just get started! All that we ask is that you try your best, and you keep moving! With time, your strength and endurance will increase, and things will get easier. Yes, it will be challenging, but most of the best things in life come with hard work!
I don't want to get punched or kicked. Will there be sparring in class?
No. Our Boxing, & Muay Thai classes are very safe, and will not involve any sort of sparring. For those who are interested and ready for contact, we have separate drills and sparring classes available.
Am I going to be the only woman in class?
Not likely. That said, if you did happen to be the only woman in class, we assure you that you'll find your peers to be friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
I don't own any boxing gloves or hand wraps. Do you have any available to use?
We have free loaner gloves available upon request, and hand wraps available for purchase.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer family and referral discounts.
I referred a friend, and they signed up. Do you have any referral programs?
First of all, THANK YOU! If you refer a friend and they sign up, you BOTH will receive the option of a $50 credit or personal training session on us. Win/win! Make sure your friend lets us know you referred them when signing up!
I'm going out of town. Is it possible to freeze my membership?
Of course! We understand that sometimes youβll have to momentarily leave us. Let us know ahead of time by email at oceansideathleticclubgm@gmail.com so we can process your request.
I want to cancel my membership. How do I do that?
We're sorry to see you go! If you would like to cancel, please give us a 30-day written cancellation notice through member feedback, or via email at OAC.Cancellations@gmail.com. Visit the front desk if you have any questions!
