A former rugby and football player during his childhood, Nico embarked on his martial arts journey at the age of 16. With three years of competition and two years of coaching experience, Nico brings a wealth of knowledge to our community.
Emphasizing the importance of mastering the basics, Nico firmly believes that a solid foundation is crucial for growth. His coaching philosophy centers on the significance of defense, aiming to build athletes from the ground up. In a world that often favors the easy path, Nico advocates for choosing the challenge and learning to push past one's limits.
Outside the gym, Nico enjoys quality time at home with his girlfriend and their dog. A nature enthusiast, he finds joy in hiking and is eager to share insights on discovering the next best trail.
At an early age, Nico was diagnosed with ADD, displaying symptoms of autism, and faced challenges such as extreme shyness, self-esteem issues, and bullying. Martial arts became his transformative path.
